The on off hose connector is great when used in conjunction with the soap dispenser, normally every time you need to refill the soap dispenser you have to walk back to the tap, turn it off, relieve the pressure from the soap housing, fill the housing then walk back to the tap and turn it on again.
By joining the on off valve with the soap dispenser you simply turn the valve off, refill the soap housing then open the valve again, much easier and faster.
